Don't stop at one message. DM Sequences let you send multi-step follow-up flows. Send message 1 now → message 2 in 1 hour → message 3 in 24 hours. Plus, A/B test two different copies to find what converts best.
Go to Auto DM → Sequences → New Sequence. Build a multi-step flow: Message 1 (immediate: "Hey! Here's the link 🔗") → Message 2 (1 hour: "Did you check it out?") → Message 3 (24 hours: "Last chance! 20% off ends tonight").
💡 Pro Tip: 3-step sequences perform best. More than 4 can feel spammy. Space messages at least 1 hour apart.
Each step can have its own message, CTA button, and delay. Set conditions: only send step 2 if step 1 was opened. Only send step 3 if they didn't click the CTA in step 2.
💡 Pro Tip: Step 2 should add urgency ("Only 50 spots left!"). Step 3 should create FOMO ("Sale ends in 6 hours!").
Configure delays between messages: 30 min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours. Our system adds random 1-3 minute jitter to each delay so messages don't arrive at exactly the same second for everyone.
💡 Pro Tip: Best delay pattern: Step 1 → immediate, Step 2 → 2 hours, Step 3 → next morning. Avoid sending after 10 PM.
Create two variants of the same DM. Version A goes to 50% of users, Version B to the other 50%. After 48 hours, compare open rates, reply rates, and CTA clicks. Keep the winner, delete the loser.
💡 Pro Tip: Test ONE thing at a time. Different emoji? Different CTA text? Different message length? Isolated tests give clear results.
A/B testing even small changes (emoji vs no emoji) can boost conversion by 20-40%
